This action embeds Apple’s WebKit, so it uses the exact same engine as Safari. I looked at embedding Gecko (Mozilla’s engine), but it would have required many, many, many times more work for only minor differences in most cases.
That said, judging by the CVS version of WebKit, the next release from Apple will fix a lot of rendering problems. One thing I’m watching in particular is how it handles CSS page-break properties and they seem to be making quite a bit of progress.

does this use the Safari rendering engine? Can it be customized to use a different rendering, like Firefox?
