Not currently possible; you could insert the "Ask for Confirmation" action, but that stops the whole workflow.

Awesome. One thing would be nice: A 'skip' feature for the renaming or other areas of the workflow. I mistakenly renamed a bunch of files (I just wanted to batch-edit the comments) when I (I know...) didn't read the workflow closely.

I think I assumed it wouldn't do anything if I didn't enter a new name.

An easy way to makes sure the pathway is to create a simple finder script in automator. This will create the proper path for you. Once its created, place the workflow in the folder.

Hmmm.. I'm new to Automator
but I don't have the WorkFlow folders in my Libraries either...

I created the folder paths but still no go.
Any tips on setting these folders up
and any reason my Tiger doesn't have them????
thanks
rRand

That directory is where Apple has their demo workflows, that's all. ~/Library/Workflows/Applications/Finder hasn't changed for contextual menu item plug-ins, I'm not sure why you would have a problem placing them there.

On my OS X 10.4.1 machine, I don't find that placing the workflow in the specific location(s) does the trick. Instead I used /Library/Application Support/Apple/Automator/Workflows/Applications/Finder . Perhaps this represents a shift in Automator workflow placement?
