In working with Box.net on a Mac, has anyone found a way to get Box.net to search and find Tags that they have placed in the Spotlight Comment box of the uploaded document.

I'm looking for a way to move away from organizing by folders and toward tagging documents. I'm also, then, working to move all my files to an online source.

I'm using QuickSliver to quickly tag all my files, then move them into one folder which I sync between my laptop and Box.net.

But to make this work effectively, I need to tag only once and these tags need to be found within Box.net's search tools.

Any ideas?

Whenever I run this, it moves the selected file(s) to the For Box.net folder, then deletes them along with it. It also does not eject the mounted network drive.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

[...] We mentioned Box.net, an iDisk-like online hard drive service, back when we could begin mounting them on our Macs. To simplify uploading files to your Box.net account, Daniel Ryan has created an Automator action that not only lets you upload with a simple right click, but it also takes care of changing any spaces in file names to underscores, making them much more web-friendly. It isn’t difficult to set up or use, but be sure to read Daniel’s instructions at Automator World, as the action depends on you having mounted your drive with Mac OS X (which creates a Keychain item to store your password). If Box.net isn’t much more than a file repository for sharing (perhaps via their blog-friendly widget), this action should streamline your efforts. [...]

Derek - Thanks, I should have noticed those actions in the workflow, which aren't part of the standard Automator install. They're all available here:
