This isn't necessarily Automator's fault; many sites have anti-leech code to prevent just this. One way around it is to copy the source to a local file, and use that. It usually works.

Actually, I have an addendum to my previous post...

It works fine with normal websites... I was trying to scalp a bunch of Corvette Z06 C6 pictures off of a forum post my dad sent me and it didn't work.

Apparently, it (automator) can't see anything that's contained inside of a post on a standard forum (this one was on vBulletin Version 3.0.3). Either links on the page or from the page, it just won't see it... which is odd since they are just image links inside the source...

Any ideas for this kind of stuff?

I think it's a little rediculous that you can't get pics that are displayed on a webpage with out any kind of problem. Why can't you specify "Go to the current page, download all JPGs that are above 100x100px, and put them in a folder..." Every suggestion on here doesn't work...

It might be illegal, but I want to see how easy it would be for something else to get my images from the web page I am building.

I'm not sure this is a good idea, since downloading any images that a person is not authorized would be considered copyright infringement. I think that people need to be aware. An innocent mistake could cost thousands, I know. IE used to have it, or maybe it still does, an option to get all images. Once it's on your hard drive it would be considered a violation.

Workflow of Simon Sturges is good.
It simply doesn't work with any website. It's a pity.
But there are some sites that work with it.

Here is his workflow:
1. Get current web page from Safari
2. Get image urls from web page
3. Filter URL - whose name contains .jpg
4. Download URL’s - where - (enter specified folder)
