Function: Takes files selected in finder and attaches them to an outgoing email.
Author: Peter Hudson
Notes: This is extremely simple and I’m surprised that nobody seems to have done it yet. Works especially well as a Finder plugin. Select the files and run it from the contextual menu.
Ah, simplicity. Thank you for (re)revealing one the original Mac OS Interface workflows: Drag and drop.

Does anyone one know if this can work for ‘Entourage’, as opposed to ‘Mail’ which the workflow demonstates? Please any advice would be much appreciated… cheers?

Quicksilver does this and much more. No need for workflows.

Hi All, I’m having one requirment, could you please help me regd this. I am generating the report and when it completes it will save in database (particular Path). Now we have to get that file which is in text format and invoke Text-to-PDF so that it will convert the file into PDF format and this PDF file should be sent as eMail to given mail-Id. Need to do by using shell script code.

I like the method shown in this screencast. You can send attachments to places without having to address the mail and click send and all that stuff!
