**Function:** (Optionally securely) deletes the given files or folders, without sending them to the trash. Use With Care.

**Input**: (Files/Folders) Files to delete.
**Options**: Secure Delete: When checked, files will be securely deleted. Force Delete: Ignore errors.
**Output**: (Text) A list of deleted files.
**Notes**:
Features include:
- Handling of both files and folders (recursively)
- The ability to select from simple deletion, and one, seven or thirty-five passes of random overwriting.
- The option to handle or ignore errors that occur during the delete process.
- An optional, configurable confirmation message.
- POSIX paths to deleted files on output.
Very useful action. I used in a Secure Delete App made using Automator.

[…] Um, the OP probably knows that there is already a Move to Trash option in the contextual menu in the Finder so command-delete really doesn’t add anything to the story. I suspect that what they do want is an out-and-out move to trash and delete in one (contextual menu) click option. Simplest workflow fails with error in OS X 10.6.2. Cannot get this to work at all. (The error is not specified.)
