Function: Runs a series of system maintenance scripts via the Terminal: Repair Permissions, Verify Preference Files, Run Periodic and Update Prebindings. Author: Jesse Hogie Notes: The download contains extensive notes.
Have you tried Main Menu? This little gem has everything i need in the menu. I have used Maintence 3.1 for some time, but this really little app puts a lot at your fingertips instantly. Nice work.
So far, I like this application. It works well, and without problems. Would adding another option, such as rebuilding the Launch Services Database be possible?

5.
These people have done a really fine job! I’m not sure where Vincent’s icons went unless they went away during the verify preference files script.
They have included the developer files including the work flow and all the apple scripts are there. I prefer not to run all these tasks automatically and be specific on what gets “cleaned up” or not, so this is great. Since the developer files are there It’s REAL easy to combine these to run them all at once as David would like to do. GREAT JOB GUYS!

I also found that Maintenance deleted the custom user icons on my login screen. I’m using Maintenance 3.3 with OSX 10.4.5.

Thanks so much for this great app. Run each week along with Onyx and I notice a speed boost each time!
