Function: Runs a series of system maintenance scripts via the Terminal: Repair Permissions, Verify Preference Files, Run Periodic and Update Prebindings. Author: Jesse Hogie Notes: The download contains extensive notes.
The user icon problem has been documented and is mentioned in the readme file of 3.4. It is due to the cache cleaning feature. If you have custom icons, its recommended that you do not use the cache cleaning feature until I work out the bugs.
I lost ALL my application icons and most of my standard file icons (eg JPG, PDF, etc.). Has anyone else seen this? If so, is there a solution?!

I’m another case of losing user icons — all three users on my system. This was a first run scenario. I selected all the options available to run.

I also lost user icons when I ran this workflow. Replacing them wasn’t a problem, but just wondering if that bug will be fixed.

Great app! I lost my desktop background images upon restart. I did repair permissions, and update pre-bindings.
thanks!
