I sure wish there was an automator action that would send a piece of text via iChat… I could use this to SMS myself my home ip as it changes.

I’m looking for an action that would renew my DHCP lease, or at least pull up the Network config panel and go to the right option for me to do it. Any suggestions?

Hi,
Sounds nice, but how do you use it?
Is this supposed to get my external IP address in some way? I tryed to integrate it to Automator, but nothing happens. Can someone help?
