**Function:** My workflow converts movies to an iPhone format using QuickTime Pro and then adds it to the iTunes library. It can be used either as a Finder Action, Folder Action or a stand alone workflow (in which case it will ask for the files to convert.
**Author**: [Anchal 'Nacho' Nigam](mailto:imthenachoman@gmail.com)
**Notes**:
The original files are not touched.
This folder will be created if needed and the converted files will be copied there:
~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Unknown Artist/Unknown Album
**Required Input:**
If run stand alone then it will asks for the files that will be processed as input.
If run as a Finder Action it will use the files currently selected as input.
If run as a Folder Action it will use the files that triggered the action as input.
**Results:**
The files that were converted and added to the iTunes Library
How would you modify the applescript to accept a folder instead of files?

Does this automator work with the default QuickTime Player or do you need Quicktime Pro?
Either way, great idea.
Thanks.

[…] Movie to iPhone Excellent workflow if you’re not using a dedicated media encoder. It will either ask for media or get selected media, depending on which of the 4 different files you’re using. […]
