Hi,
I just tried this and received the following message:
Can’t get item {} (-1728)
Great idea though. Hoping I can get this to work.
Thanks,
Keebler

i made something like this just today. what i did was..i have classic menu installed on my computer. and i made a little app whos only job is to open one specific dvd folder on my computer. then in the classic menu i made a submenu called movies. under movies, it has an alias to that movies little app, and boom. movie starts playing. no fiddling around with dvd player first. just click and open. im planning to make my computer into more of a media hub like this. all the movies i have minus fiddling around with my dvds

Doesn’t work. And there are already premade actions for play DVD in Automator.
And, when you pop in a DVD, DVD Player launches.
