  1. I must just add, you need to create the Notes folder yourself, within your Documents folder.

  2. Cool idea. The Finder, Spotlight, and little apps like this can make apps like StickyBrain obsolete. Here’s the thing. I want to be able to paste text and graphics into the text box. I wonder why I can’t cmd-V.

Wedge – you could add the action “New Folder” to the top of this workflow that will create the “Notes” folder automatically (this goes for anyone else who wants to share a workflow that calls a specific folder). The last action, pointing to the folder still needs to be done manually by the user, as Automator doesn’t do relative folder paths.

    Rick – That is odd that the box doesn’t take a paste. Bug report to Apple!
